Why the difference in original Pathetique and Tonebase Sheetmusic?

Can someone help me understand why the difference in the original printing and the Tonebase lesson version?  I underlined in Blue in the Allegro section.  Many thanks.

  • Quick answer is that some editions decide to use “shorthand” and save ink such as the version on the left!

    The version on the right looks a bit more “busy” but both are played and sound exactly the same! Up to the editor how they want things formatted!
