Hi. I am Level 6/7 but decided to start tonebase with something easy and fun, Peter Dugan’s course on playing the blues. I am enjoying it, but one thing he doesn’t say much about is how to gain the skill of playing a swing rhythm in one hand and a straight rhythm in the other. I can play different rhythms in Brahms, Chopin, etc., but for some reason I am really struggling with this! Of course it’s only been a day or two. But I’m wondering if anyone else has had this challenge and how you worked on the skill. Thanks.

    • Nina BR I think he knows he needs to do a sequel to his course ;) He needs to go into a few more details we're all looking forward to. Mr. Dugan... hear our call🙏

  • One of my first lessons on ToneBase was Juliana Han's Chords and Arpeggios - love it and have returned to the lessons many times!

I think your lessons on Chopin’s Mazurka are just amazing.

So I wondered what is the types of dance in the op.67 n°4. I think there is clearly kujawiak but I’m not sure where the other dances are intricate.

     Thx !
