Practicing playing from lead sheets

I've studied classical piano to roughly tonebase level 8. I'd like to be able to play from the vocal lines with chords format that is often available for pop songs. I know all the chord symbols and have familiarity with counterpoint, figured base, voice leading, common progressions, and harmonic function.

Some ideas for what might be helpful:

* A reference book that has common accompaniment patterns written out that I could work on applying to any given song.

* Focused written exercises in voice leading and fluency with common progressions.

* Example renderings of particular songs with discussion of how genre, voicing, and other considerations were taken into account.

What books, courses, practice routines, or other resources do you suggest?
