Hi Dominic ! I want to hear your opinion about something in Waltz Nr 14. From bar 25 I can't play the acciaccatura with the speed I want, so I've decided on omitting the bottom B. What do you think of this choice? I could also omit the acciaccatura if that's better. I don't like to play it with a slow attack on the main note.
We have discussed in other live events that pianos were smaller in key size back then, and I'm guessing it would be easier to play this correctly on a historic instrument.
I also wonder how you will play the first beat in measure 25 in waltz 11. I play the rolled chord in LH at the same time as the appoggiaturas in RH. Also in bar 21 - 24 I play the rolled chord with the upper note landing on the beat with RH. What do you think of this?
