I think I understand, but maybe I don't . Why not have a lesson entirely dedicated to clearing up the matter once and for all...Ben something inspiring and since you decide to take it into your own hands for our own salvation revisit the basics for all of us
What would you like to see discussed in this type of course? Basic note duration and length of measures, or more advanced?
Geoffrey Grosenbach I'd like to understand the mechanism that governs the relationship between the note played at the top of the numerator and the note in the denominator. An explanation that allows you to immediately understand any time signature, be it 2/4, 12/8... whatever, without having to go back to square one in your head each time.
A recipe of understanding.
In a word, more advanced.
