Omg! I would love to participate. Any chance Mozart's Adagio in B Minor would be acceptable? If not, no prob, I'll stick to the plan.

    • Heidi please sign up that will be good repertoire! You can definitely extrapolate anything Orli talks about in the sonatas to the adagio!

      Masako Hiketa Hi Masako!

Normally you play something and send it in and can have some advices or you can send a question in and get an answer. Or you can give some advices to other participants.

I'm working on KV 576 (No. 18), and the Allegro is pretty much under control. But I'm traveling from Nov. 13-18 (internet access only in the evenings). I'm not sure if that prevents me from participating. Also still not clear on the format. Do participants submit videos in advance for consideration of inclusion?

    • Michael Basically you just sign up! Orli then will post a video that details an assignment and her demonstrating. (Could be her talking about articulation in Mozart or something!) Then you would post videos of yourself practicing your own Mozart piece, and trying to apply Orli's concept in your practice!

    Dear all,

The group threads will open up tomorrow and Orli's assignment video will be posted at the top. In short, you should pick a movement from a Sonata and Orli will have specific tasks for you, depending on whether it's a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd movement. Of course you can ask questions about other movements, or ā€“ if you're just beginning ā€“ you can just focus on a single passage. For those wondering about other Mozart works, like the Rondos or the Adagio, you're welcome to seek advice on them, but I also recommend working on a Sonata, since the resources from Orli's course will best suited to that.

    More soon!

    Ben

earlier, I expressed interest in accessing the public forum in connection with Orliā€™s assignment video (which Iā€™m aware usually stays accessible after the teaching / feedback period.)  Is there any update regarding this?
