Are there 2 versions of the Ballade No.1 in G Minor?

As above. 

I've been learning this piece for a month and I'm playing the same version played by Paul Barton

Even the version played by Garrick Ohlsson in his tutorial is the same as the one played by Paul Barton. 

So, several weeks ago, I decided to listen how other famous pianists perform the Ballade, and I discovered in Krystian Zimmerman's performance that there is an extra section in the middle!

Can someone explain why there are 2 different versions of the ballade in G minor and which is the legit one?
