This was great! Really enjoyed Alexander Kobrin’s playing and detailed commentary with imagery/context/connections of the various pieces. Rachmaninoff’s music is truly magical. Just that one snippet of the G minor Etude Tableaux (op 33 no 8) in the context of “gloomy morning”…wow. Thanks for this wonderful livestream. Hope we have a Rach challenge month sometime soon.

I am new to this place. I joined about one month ago. I love Rachmaninoff’s music and I find missing having tutorials on more preludes and Etudes Tableaux.
Boris Giltburg’s vídeo about prelude in g minor changed the way i play it. I would like having similar results on Etude Tableaux op 33 no 4 in d minor and Op 39 no 9 which i can play but, with some difficulties and i would like to improve my playing.
