I am a huge fan of Prof. Kate Boyd's piano teaching on the internet.  Have been watching her channel now for at least a year! watched the channel grow from may 50 subscribers to 25k+ subscribers. Never met or talked to her in person or email.  So much to learn from an absolute expert. One of the great internet masters on piano playing. :-)

Starting from how to sit and adjust the bench, to core principles, the grand scale on the piano at blinding speed - Conservatory experiences with legends like Prof Sebok.. etc. There are nearly 250 videos and she doesn't waste any time getting to the point !  This course that she has launched is pretty advanced -

If you are TB level 8+ it may be beneficial ( I am not) -  That's my assessment. and she says that clearly - meaning there is a  checklist at the bottom who may benefit from this course. The cost is I think $299 but you will have check that. If it suits you I am sure you won't be disappointed (there are something like 200 lessons and it does only scales - not even arpeggios - which is going to be another class. ) It is already over subscribed.

For scales - she suggests keeping the hand aligned - no twisting the wrist - and using the hand open -close method. Thumb tucks into the hand and you open the  hand and immediately 1,2,3,45 fall exactly on the bottom half of the scale. She demos this at terrific speeds :-) Easily 140bpm+ to the sixteenth note.

      Hope this helps.

Not sure if you saw Jeffrey Biegel’s scales class on TB or Sara Davis Buchener’s school of virtuosity - both world renowned pianists. Your thoughts are welcome.
