That had a funny ring to it -- who am I to "work together" with Bach, Mozart, Liszt etc. "Hello Mr. Liszt, let's write a piano sonata together!" or "Herr Brahms, let's play some Hungarian Dances four-hands"... But then I remembered I am also a music publisher, so if I could have Gustav Mahler compose one more symphony and publish it, that would literally be a collaboration! And also beautiful because our company published his early symphonies around 1900.
Speaking as a pianist, I am sure a lesson with Liszt would be magic. Or with the late Jorge Bolet, one of the noblest pianists and virtuosos of the 20th century. Think of that legendary masterclass on Rachmaninov's Third Concerto from the early 80s. As for the living, Andras Schiff would be great to work with. He is to me one of the most superb musicians alive, and also a kind person, humorous and with a great sense of irony.
