Ditto on Amadeus. Another good old movie about Schumanns and Brahms with Katherine Hepburn called “Song of Love” is worth checking out.

Amadeus was also a favorite of mine.

I just watched Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould.  Interesting documentary I found on the Kanopy app from my library.

One fascinating books that came to mind is "The Forbidden Childhood". About Ruth Slenczynska and her childhood to young adult. Fascinating read, and she talks about studying with Rachmaninoff, Cartot and others.

I had the pleasure to talk to Leon Fleisher briefly at the National Book Festival in Washington, DC when he was introducing his new book then "My nine Lives". I bought the book and he autographed it. I truly recommend it if you want to know the biography of a distinguish pianist.

I saw the movies The Green Book and Forest of Piano at around the same time, it made me want to play the piano again after a super super long hiatus 😄

I don't read many books that are not related to my work these days, especially with practice time taking up my spare moments, but I am noting all the book suggestions here for future reference, for sure!
