    Hello Dominic & Participants,

I'd like to play the F#minor Prelude & Fugue from Book II of the Well Tempered Clavier.  The Prelude can sound kind of spooky under the right conditions. I think they take about 6 -7 minutes in total.

If there's time and interest, I could also contribute an improvised version of the Rogers & Hart tune "Bewitched", as something more appropriate to the season..

    • Peter Golemme Please contribute an improvisation if you like! Would love it!

Dominic Cheli Thank you Dominic.  I'm happy to play this live if I'm not using up too much time already with my Prelude and Fugure. But here's a recording of an improvised version of Richard Rodgers & Lorenz Hart's "Bewitched" as a reminder that witches don't always leave you feeling spooky or fearful. You could be bewitched, bothered and bewildered, not to mention beguiled, befuddled and bemused, all of which are states in which I often find myself. P.S. there is a shout-out to Gail and Naomi in the second and third bridges.

Dominic Cheli Dominic, I'm not seeing my name on the listing.  Is that an oversight or was there not enough room?

I wanted to play the F#minor Prelude & Fugue from Book II of the Well Tempered Clavier, as well as add an improvised version of Bewitched if there was time.  Here's a recording of Bewitched also.

  • Hi everyone,

I’ve been playing some piano music from Venezuela this summer. I would like to play two short pieces by Teresa Carreño, one is the Mazurka Op. 30 and the other Venise Op.33 No.1.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

  • I'd like to play something. It'll be either Scriabin Etude in C sharp minor Op. 2, No. 1 or Shostakovich Preludes Op. 34 Nos. 1 & 2. Or maybe all three! They are all short.

Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre brought to you by the Demonic Duo of Naomi & Gail.

Some 4-hand Halloween fun from dark and stormy Florida!

(Please excuse the slower-than-expected tempo...when we play faster, we dissolve into uncontrollable giggles.  Not the sombre mood this piece requires.)

Gail Starr Hey Gail and Naomi, great job! I think it works very well at this  tempo, especially when played with such conviction. Nice video work too. I love it, very scary!

springgrass Thanks, Springgrass!  Does Yihan like to make videos?

    • Gail Starr Yihan should learn making videos, as it would be a very important skill to be  a successful  musician, self promoting  on social media these days...He is too busy now with high school AP courses and piano practicing for competitions... He can do some simple editing though.   Well, I think I should learn how, to help him out.  What software(s) and course(s) would you recommend?

springgrass Ailey (Naomi’s 12 year old daughter) edited the video, so I’ll ask her this weekend.
I’ve used the free version of CapCut, as well as iMovie and GarageBand but I think Ailey used something better.  Yihan is WAY too busy to edit his own videos! ❤️
