@Kerstin I've just gotten back to piano since Covid, also! I hadn't played in years. It's nice to know we have friends in the same situation. I love your playing!

Re: J.S. Bach - 2 part inventions group
@Andrea Buckland I just listened to the Gould recording of the d minor that I started to work on and it is REALLY fast and very staccato. Quite different than Magdalena, but i kind of like it.

@Vidhya Bashyam I'm starting out just doing them slowly and trying to figure out when to end them. Magdalena said to end them early...but I'm not sure HOW early@

@Vidhya Bashyam Yes, I had NO idea about the rationale for long trills! They are kind of tiring, don't you think? Does your hand get tense?

@Natalie Peh I can't wait to hear you! Are you going to learn the first 2 inventions? I'm going to start with d minor, just because I liked Magdalena's lesson about it.

@Parag Mehta The house prices in Florida are INSANE! No one can afford to buy a house now, and even the rents have increased by 1/3. Is it the same in the Netherlands now, too?
