Re: Yulianna Avdeeva YouTube Feature!
Awesome. Can’t wait for the lessons. I went to hear Yulianna last February play Liszt and Beethoven live and it was fantastic. I met her afterwards too and she was so kind and gracious.

Re: Group 3
@Vidhya Bashyam Great job. I think the Mazurkas are harder to sing due to the chromatic lines and unusual rhythms.

@Gail Starr That’s great. We can be Mazurka buddies! I found Jarred’s tutorial on Mazurka no4 really useful. I don’t think I’ve tried no.2

Re: Can we have a tutorial on Rachmaninoff Prelude Op 23 No 4 in D major?
I just found out today that Boris Giltburg is coming to my local concert hall in February to play the Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No2. I’m definitely going to get a ticket!!

I would tell myself to memorise everything I possibly could as it’s my one big regret that I wasn’t taught or encouraged to do it from an early age. It gets harder and harder as you get older!

@Parag Mehta Thanks so much for this. The first section does look a lot easier to read. I’ll give it a try. Which edition is this from?

Yulianna Avdeeva is my favourite pianist. Everything she plays is superb and her Bach project got me through lockdown. https://youtu.be/TIa5MlCTITQ
