I grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY where I began my music instruction. My mother worked at Vassar College. This provided me the access to their Music Department which obviously included practice rooms with Steinway pianos and one of the best music libraries in the country. I was also fortunate to study with Blanca Uribe there as well. She had an enormous impact on me. Later, I attended the Crane School of Music at Potsdam College where I completed as Bachelor of Music degree. There, I was also fortunate to study piano with Frank Iogha. The impact he had on me and my playing is immeasurable. I am a US ARMY veteran and currently work for the government as an intelligence analyst.
